The Platform

We give you the software.
You pay only for our time.

Most firms bill you for the busywork. We built the busywork into software — and include it free with any engagement. Our four platforms run your privacy and AI-governance programs; our lawyers handle the judgment calls. You stop paying for hours spent maintaining spreadsheets.

Your NEL Workspace

The same software, running for your matters —
on hardware the firm owns.

The products above are what we build. This is how you meet them inside an engagement: North End Law runs its own secured, NEL-flavored instance of each — hosted locally by the firm, behind the same gateway and confidentiality tiers as our AI stack — and your matters live in them from day one. You receive the outputs as deliverables.

Hosted locally by the firm

NEL · DPO Central

Our privacy program engine

Our own secured instance runs your privacy program from day one of an engagement: data inventory, RoPA, impact assessments, incident clocks.

You receive: DPIAs and records of processing, signed out to you.
Hosted locally by the firm

NEL · AI Sentinel

Our AI-governance engine

Our instance registers and risk-classifies every AI system in your organisation against the EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and ISO/IEC 42001.

You receive: AI inventories and risk classifications for your org.
Hosted locally by the firm

NEL · Dealroom

Our negotiation workspace

Contracts on your matters are drafted, red-lined, and negotiated inside our instance — with AI clause-compromise suggestions a lawyer reviews.

You receive: Negotiated DPAs and contracts, exported for signature.
Hosted locally by the firm

NEL · vendor.watch

Our third-party-risk lens

Public-by-design attestations: our instance tracks the certifications, DPAs, subprocessor chains, and AI-governance posture of the vendors your business depends on.

You receive: Vendor risk assessments and attestation portfolios.

Client-facing portals into these instances come online as engagements onboard. Today, every instance runs on firm hardware and you receive its outputs as deliverables — DPIAs, DPAs, AI inventories, vendor assessments — under a lawyer's signature.

Behind the instances

Powered by our own skills, built on LQ.AI

What fills these instances is the firm's own AI capability: a workbench proudly built on LQ.AI (Apache-2.0), where we maintain a library of custom playbooks — the firm's encoded know-how for reviews, DPIAs, and negotiations — and run citation-verified reviews in which every quote is checked byte-for-byte before a lawyer relies on it. We are members of the LegalQuants community and contribute back.

That capability stays behind the curtain, on firm hardware. What crosses the curtain to you is the finished, verified, signed work.

The tools are free. Start with a conversation.

Pick a plan and the platform comes with it — or just book a call and we'll show you what running your program on it looks like.
